Needed to replace a 25-year-old + Electrolux central vacuum unit. Researched as much content online resulting in the selection of the Cano-Vac LS790. There are many similarly featured / specifications from multiple brands. Not the lowest upfront cost, but solid build and reliability reviews were the most favorable and the deciding factor was that Cano-Vac is built in Canada. Process for ordering was very simple. As I was replacing an existing system, I did need to reconfigure the intake piping which was very simple. Required a stop at the local hardware store to purchase a piece of PVC pipe / glue and 2 new joints. I also installed the bag option which did also require the addition of a pipe joint to be added internally within the collection bin. The overall installation was easy and very quick once I had the supplies. Have now used the LS790 to clean the house & all is good. I would recommend this system and I hope to be able to leverage 25 years without having to think about a vacuum again !

Bought this to replace a 5 year old Kenmore unit of similar square foot rating that died. The improvements in suction power and noise at the new unit compared with our old unit are remarkable. We are very happy with this unit highly recommend it.
